KEMET U2J High Voltage Class I Dielectric Capacitors
KEMET U2J High Voltage Class I Dielectric Capacitors (Commercial and Automotive Grade) are designed to meet the growing demand for high AC current resonant applications, including LLC resonant converters and wireless power transfer circuits in electric vehicles (EVs). By utilizing KEMET’s proprietary U2J dielectric, this series offers a surface-mount solution with low effective series resistance (ESR) and effective series inductance (ESL) with high AC current capability. This results in minimal i2R heating losses, which equates to higher efficiency power conversion. The U2J dielectric is not sensitive to capacitance loss with DC bias compared to Class II dielectric materials, and it retains more than 99% of nominal capacitance at full rated voltage. KEMET U2J High Voltage Class I Dielectric Capacitors are AEC-Q200 qualified.
